This full-time, on-site role in Lahore is for an entry-level software engineer on Educative's learning platform, which offers interactive text-based courses across computer science, cloud computing and advanced technologies. Responsibilities
- Write high-quality, maintainable and reusable code following sound design principles.
- Clarify technical requirements, produce coding estimates and propose design approaches.
- Review other team members' code and give constructive direction.
- Drive improvements in software quality, customer experience and maintainability.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms, and good knowledge of multithreading.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Working knowledge of Git and the ability to work independently.
Qualifications
- A BS, MS or PhD in computer science.
- Experience with Python, Node.js, React, TypeScript, Next.js, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or Google Cloud is a nice-to-have.
