Karat is seeking independent contractors to join its global community of Interview Engineers. This remote role involves conducting technical evaluations for software developers around the world using the Karat platform. Interview Engineers play a key role in building inclusive hiring practices by reducing bias, strengthening hiring signals, and delivering objective candidate assessments that help startups and large enterprises manage their engineering teams.
Contractors in this position are responsible for running technical interviews, maintaining a positive candidate experience, assessing coding abilities and technical knowledge, and providing detailed feedback on performance, communication, and coding approaches. Additionally, Interview Engineers collaborate with Karat on testing products, processes, and content. Compensation for this freelance work is task-based and processed upon the completion of onboarding.
Responsibilities
