This remote position operates entirely within the United States.
This role suits technical professionals who enjoy customer-facing responsibilities and hands-on architecture development. The position requires a specialist who can bridge the gap between business needs and complex technical environments by leading discovery discussions, conducting product demonstrations, and answering detailed inquiries during security reviews and proposals. Professionals in this capacity will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business departments, turning customer requirements into functional integrations. Candidates will design and build working proofs of concept, author technical documentation, and relay user feedback back to internal product teams.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in client-facing technical advisory positions, along with deep practical knowledge of networking principles, public key infrastructure, and domain name systems. Individuals stepping into this assignment must also demonstrate familiarity with agentic artificial intelligence protocols and the ability to rapidly construct prototypes utilizing modern programming languages and cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical conversations during customer discovery meetings, workshops, and product demonstrations
- Communicate concepts regarding DNS resolution, zone management, and DNSSEC to various audiences
- Clarify networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, load balancers, TLS, and CDNs
- Advise clients on certificate authorities, chains of trust, mTLS, and key management
- Assist clients with agentic AI protocols such as MCP and A2A covering discovery, authentication, and authorization
- Develop proofs of concept and prototypes demonstrating product capabilities
- Translate user requirements into architectural plans, integration strategies, and documentation
- Provide technical responses for requests for proposals, security reviews, and solution proposals
- Deliver user feedback to internal engineering and product teams to influence development
- Produce reusable reference architectures, sales enablement materials, and demonstrations
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in technical consulting, solutions engineering, sales engineering, or related customer-facing technical functions
- In-depth, practical knowledge of DNS including authoritative servers, resolvers, record types, and DNSSEC
- Solid understanding of networking concepts such as HTTP/S, TLS, TCP/IP, and standard network architectures
- Experience with public key infrastructure including X.509 certificates, certificate authorities, lifecycle management, and mTLS
- Working familiarity with LLM integration and agentic AI protocols like MCP and A2A
- Demonstrated ability to build prototypes rapidly using REST APIs and languages such as Python, Go, or TypeScript/JavaScript
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud computing platform including AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong presentation and communication skills suitable for engineering and executive audiences
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Qualifications
- Prior background working at a domain registry, domain registrar, CDN, certificate authority, or DNS provider
- Familiarity with standards like OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, verifiable credentials, or DIDs
- Experience developing AI agents using the Anthropic or OpenAI SDKs, LangChain, or LangGraph
- Familiarity with internet governance organizations such as ICANN, IETF, and W3C
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, or a cloud architect credential
