Job Description
This Sr. Financial Analyst post centers on FP&A, the planning and analysis function, and sits in the business partnerships group that reports to the FP&A Manager. The analyst helps plan and report on financial performance across departments, concentrating on top-line revenue, from bookings through annual recurring revenue, and on the cost of go-to-market teams, including GAAP gross margin from revenue down to those costs.
Much of the work means building models and tools that turn large data sets into material executives can act on. The employer treats expertise with business intelligence software, FP&A systems and advanced spreadsheet functions such as Power Pivot and Power Query as non-negotiable. Equally important is a record of producing measurable results through modeling and working alongside business leaders.
Day-to-day activities include setting revenue and efficiency targets, forecasting staffing needs for go-to-market teams, running upside and downside scenarios against the long-range plan, and explaining variances between budget and actuals. The analyst also takes on ad hoc questions about launches, partnerships and capital spending, and helps keep actuals accurate during the close.
The employer is a privately held health technology company whose platform serves more than 30,000 provider organizations and includes over 400 integrated partners. The position is full time and hybrid, and staff must live within commuting distance of the office. The posting does not name a city or a salary.
