Reporting directly to the VP of Communications, the professional in this role acts as a central operator and project manager, unifying various functional areas such as corporate communications, brand publicity, content promotion, and international messaging. This position does not involve traditional publicity duties; instead, it focuses on building efficient operating systems, tracking budgets, overseeing vendor relationships, and establishing cross-functional alignment across marketing, ad sales, content, and product teams. Tubi operates as a free streaming service and a division of Fox Corporation, delivering television shows and movies to over 100 million active monthly users.

This hybrid position is based out of the company offices in New York City or Los Angeles, requiring attendance on-site two to three days per week. The role suits a proactive, low-ego problem solver with strong organizational capabilities who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building structured workflows from ambiguity. Qualified candidates will bring at least four years of operational experience, exceptional cross-functional instincts, and the ability to synthesize complex data for senior leadership.

  • Maintain the integrated communications schedule to identify scheduling overlaps, gaps, and dependencies across workstreams
  • Drive major cross-functional initiatives by setting clear timelines, ownership structures, and decision points
  • Design and oversee workflows that offer transparency into team workloads and deadlines without introducing unnecessary administrative overhead
  • Organize team operating cadences, including leadership check-ins, planning sessions, and weekly priority alignments
  • Oversee vendor and agency operations, covering budgets, contracts, scopes of work, and performance deliverables
  • Track departmental budgets and assist with resource allocation in coordination with finance partners
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine metrics and connect communication outputs to broader business objectives
  • Create concise updates for executives detailing progress, risks, and dependencies
  • Coordinate with marketing, ad sales, content, product, and corporate teams to align stakeholders on shared data
  • Identify and resolve workflow friction points and information silos across the organization
  • Ensure institutional knowledge, processes, and decisions remain documented and accessible
  • Facilitate onboarding and transitions for incoming team members and external vendors
  • Act as a trusted operational partner and continuity anchor for the vice president of communications

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in communications, marketing, business operations, or project management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex workstreams and stakeholders concurrently
  • Proven background in designing systems, processes, or operational rhythms that enhance team productivity
  • Experience handling budgets, vendor contracts, agencies, or resource planning
  • Availability to work hybridly out of the Los Angeles or New York City offices 2 to 3 days per week

  • Previous professional exposure working directly inside or alongside a marketing or communications department
  • Prior background in entertainment, media, consumer brands, or technology industries
