Elastic wants a Senior Manager to guide the move off Salesforce CPQ and onto Revenue Cloud, owning the complete Quote-to-Cash function. The job is full-time and on-site in the United States. The manager keeps quoting, pricing, contracts, orders and invoicing running smoothly, on systems that can handle growth.
This role delivers the engineering work for the assigned Quote-to-Cash track from start to finish. Before development kicks off, the manager makes sure requirements and user stories are fully formed. Business and solution needs become build tasks, sprint capacity is planned under Scrum, and delivery problems are caught before they threaten timelines.
Beyond delivery, the manager sets the solution roadmap and integration approach, runs workshops and prototypes to validate ideas with the business, and offers architectural guidance on CPQ. Connections to ERP, CRM, payment processors and outside applications form a major area, and every design must follow Salesforce standards for security, data and integration. Coaching development and configuration staff, and tracking changes in CPQ and Revenue Cloud releases, round out the job.
A good fit has at least eight years of experience implementing or migrating Salesforce CPQ or Revenue Cloud, understands how quotes, orders and billing interact across teams, and is equally comfortable with business process and technical design. Daily collaboration across Sales, Finance, Legal and IT is built into the job.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete engineering delivery of the Quote-to-Cash workstream
- Verify requirements and dependencies are complete before any build begins
- Convert business and solution needs into concrete engineering tasks
- Plan team capacity and sprint commitments
- Shape the solution roadmap, integration strategy and system enhancements
- Give architectural direction and technical leadership on CPQ
- Supervise connections to ERP, CRM, payment gateways and outside apps
- Coach development and configuration staff
Requirements
- Eight or more years implementing or migrating Salesforce CPQ or Revenue Cloud
- Solid grasp of how Quote-to-Cash processes depend on work from other teams
- Hands-on experience across CPQ, billing, subscription management and revenue recognition
- Familiarity with the wider Salesforce toolset, from Sales Cloud and Service Cloud to Lightning, Apex, Visualforce and Flows
- Skill in data modeling, middleware and API integration, and security design, including MuleSoft and ERP connections
- Ability to lead intricate projects with many stakeholders
Qualifications
- Salesforce experience in Sales Cloud and the integrations around it
- Experience working alongside Finance and Revenue Operations groups
