ServiceNow is hiring a full-time Sr Platform Architect for an on-site position located in Bengaluru. This professional serves as a trusted advisor focusing on enterprise platform strategy and governance. The role involves shaping platform standards, guiding technical choices, establishing governance models, and mitigating risks to ensure long-term scalability and alignment with organizational objectives.
Ideal candidates will interact extensively with executive leadership, enterprise architects, and various delivery teams to steer platform direction and foster consistency. Responsibilities include managing instance strategies, integration patterns, and data models while facilitating governance forums. Additionally, this position requires up to 50% annual travel and involves providing structured feedback directly to internal product and engineering groups.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain the platform vision and strategy in line with IT and business goals
- Deliver architectural guidance ensuring designs meet established standards and leading practices
- Develop governance frameworks encompassing data models, integrations, and instance strategies
- Lead platform governance forums to align teams and partners on consistent decisions
- Identify and address platform risks related to performance, scalability, and technical debt
- Promote the adoption of leading practices across partner, customer, and internal teams
- Deliver structured feedback to engineering and product groups
- Travel up to 50% annually
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of background in enterprise architecture, solution strategy, and program leadership
- Demonstrated ability to interact at the executive level to guide business outcomes and platform direction
- Experience creating multi-workflow, enterprise-scale governance models and architectures
- Capability to function as a program-level architect directing multiple partners and teams toward a shared vision
- Proficiency in integration patterns, platform strategy, and complex delivery governance
- Familiarity with leveraging or evaluating artificial intelligence integration into decision-making and work processes
Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified Master Architect certification
- Additional certifications in architecture and governance frameworks
