Job Description

Niche is a school search platform that helps families find and enroll in educational institutions while assisting schools in recruiting best-fit students. The company is currently hiring a Senior Product Analyst to join the Analytics team as a senior individual contributor. This position is exclusively open to candidates residing in Argentina and Brazil.

In this role, you will embed directly with product teams to guide decision-making through data, design end-to-end A/B tests, and establish key metrics across both family-facing and school-facing experiences like scholarships, rankings, and registration. Operating in a Claude-first environment, you will utilize AI tools daily for tasks ranging from writing SQL queries to building Streamlit apps and automating routine workflows. You will serve as a strategic partner to product leadership, shaping questions from inception through execution and communicating complex findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is an experienced data professional with a strong statistical background who thrives in a fast-paced setting. Candidates must submit applications and resumes written in English.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with product teams during roadmap planning to identify and size opportunities prior to prioritization
  • Establish consistent metric definitions across dashboards and the semantic layer for various product areas
  • Measure product funnels, feature adoption, user engagement, and retention for families and school partners
  • Conduct deep-dive user behavior analyses and pair findings with actionable recommendations and next steps
  • Collaborate with Design and UX Research to combine behavioral metrics with qualitative user insights
  • Manage end-to-end A/B tests including design, sizing, duration, GTM and GA4 tracking setup, and result interpretation
  • Measure non-randomized product launches using appropriate causal methods and confidence statements
  • Create measurement requirements, event specifications, and GTM tags for new features prior to launch
  • Build and maintain Streamlit dashboards, self-serve views, and dbt models alongside Data Engineering
  • Leverage Claude and Claude Code daily to write SQL, explore data, draft readouts, build Streamlit apps, and automate recurring workflows
  • Mentor junior analysts informally and pressure-test analyses from team members and product partners

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product analytics, data analytics, or a closely related data field
  • Demonstrated ability to design and analyze A/B tests and own end-to-end product measurement
  • Hands-on experience analyzing web or app behavioral data via tools such as GA4, GTM, PostHog, Amplitude, or Mixpanel
  • Practical experience using Claude, Claude Code, or comparable AI analytics tools with examples of built or automated workflows
  • Senior-level proficiency in SQL for writing, reviewing, and debugging complex queries
  • Strong grounding in statistics, experimentation principles, and Python or R for analysis
  • Experience working with Snowflake, dbt, and version-controlled analytics processes
  • Strong dashboarding capabilities using Streamlit, Looker, or similar tools
  • Reside in Argentina or Brazil

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Master’s degree
  • Experience building Claude skills, MCP connectors, or agent workflows for a team
  • Understanding of K-12 or college admissions processes
  • Experience utilizing causal inference methods beyond standard A/B tests
  • Experience contributing to a semantic layer or self-serve metrics layer
  • Background working in marketplace, consumer internet, SaaS, or education technology industries
