Job Description
CentralReach is seeking a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer to join its Platform Engineering group, which manages storage, infrastructure, IT, DevOps, and cloud systems worldwide. CentralReach provides software solutions focused on autism and IDD care for applied behavior analysis, special education, and multidisciplinary therapy. In this position, the engineer will partner with software engineering stakeholders to advance reliability practices such as SLOs, error budgets, incident reviews, and chaos testing.

Key duties involve managing production availability, latency, capacity, and monitoring, alongside automating observability platforms using tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana. Responsibilities
- Manage production uptime, latency, performance, capacity planning, and emergency response.
- Define and maintain service level objectives, error budgets, and dashboards.
- Investigate and resolve operational problems impacting service dependability.
- Automate multi-environment observability systems and usage-based capacity forecasting.
- Minimize toil and boost development speed through automation.
- Handle incident, problem, and change management along with root cause analysis and runbook creation.
- Propose architectural enhancements informed by data.
- Partner with software engineering teams on release coordination and operational readiness.
Requirements
- Experience with application performance monitoring and observability tools like Splunk, Prometheus, Datadog, and OpenTelemetry.
- Background in building observability strategies for logs, metrics, and traces.
- Knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Argo, and Kargo.
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms, specifically AWS, and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Understanding of container management technologies including Kubernetes and Helm.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or Go, plus familiarity with .NET development.
- Familiarity with Linux, Windows, networking, systems, and cloud concepts.
- Experience leveraging artificial intelligence to boost productivity.
