This position centers on creating artificial intelligence-driven product features designed to resolve specific challenges encountered by Field Service Management users. Professionals in this role will blend software engineering principles, product strategy, and practical artificial intelligence construction to deploy dependable and scalable production systems.
The job involves overseeing the complete lifecycle of product creation, spanning user interfaces, backend infrastructure, enterprise data sources, integrations, and artificial intelligence functions. Team members will collaborate alongside designers, product managers, and subject matter experts to identify customer needs and determine optimal areas for artificial intelligence integration. Responsibilities include building applications powered by large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, and structured outputs, alongside developing conversational and multimodal experiences across chat, web, and voice platforms.
Furthermore, engineers will connect artificial intelligence elements with enterprise workflows while maintaining strict security, privacy, and access rules. Additional duties involve designing multi-step workflows with appropriate autonomy and exception handling, refining system prompts through feedback, and building scalable application services equipped with observability and testing mechanisms. The ideal candidate possesses a technical background, experience operating production software, and strong product judgment to transition ambiguous problems into finalized applications.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end development covering user interfaces, backend systems, artificial intelligence utilities, enterprise information, and integrations
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and domain specialists to locate opportunities for meaningful artificial intelligence value
- Construct software utilizing large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, structured outputs, and agentic workflows
- Design conversational and multimodal applications across web, chat, and voice channels while focusing on usability, reliability, and latency
- Connect artificial intelligence capabilities with business workflows and APIs while upholding strict security, privacy, and access controls
- Create multi-step artificial intelligence workflows featuring autonomous capabilities, human handoffs, and recovery mechanisms
- Refine system instructions, prompts, and tool definitions via evaluations and production feedback
- Construct scalable application services incorporating performance optimization, error handling, observability, and testing
- Prototype rapidly to transition successful experiments into maintainable production software
- Leverage artificial intelligence coding utilities while preserving security and engineering standards
- Offer technical leadership, mentor other engineers, and define reusable development patterns
Requirements
- Demonstrated track record of building and operating production software, including hands-on creation of artificial intelligence or large language model applications
- Full-stack development experience covering data models, APIs, backend services, and user-facing software
- Fundamental software engineering skills encompassing system design, distributed systems, production operations, and testing
- Practical familiarity with context management, prompting, retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, structured outputs, and agent orchestration
- Experience linking applications with external systems, enterprise data, workflows, and APIs
- Comprehension of artificial intelligence trade-offs such as latency, cost, reliability, hallucination, grounding, security, and data privacy
- Ability to diagnose failures and enhance production behavior using tracing, evaluations, and observability
- Strong product judgment to navigate ambiguous customer problems from concept through production
- Effective communication, collaboration, mentoring, and technical leadership capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
- Experience creating agentic applications and multi-step autonomous workflows
- Background in streaming, real-time, voice, conversational, or multimodal artificial intelligence applications
- Experience delivering enterprise workflows powered by artificial intelligence
- Familiarity with developer productivity tools, rapid prototyping, and artificial intelligence coding agents
- Forward deployment experience collaborating directly with customers to deploy solutions and display measurable results
- Experience building products utilized by enterprise customers
