Job Description
NinjaTrader is a retail futures brokerage and trading platform operating since 2003. It reports more than two million users and describes itself as the top-rated futures broker in the world. This senior engineer role is on the FCM development team, which builds back-end systems for customer funding, trading and back-office operations.

The engineer owns systems that must be quick, dependable and accurate, and leads through good coding habits, review and deadline management. The role collaborates with finance, treasury, account-opening and trading groups to create precise, efficient back-office logic and tools.
The engineer writes Python and TypeScript back ends, adds monitoring and logs using observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, and simplifies processes to reduce manual steps. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's or master's in computer science and has eight or more years building real-time applications. Strong Python and TypeScript back-end skills, familiarity with Linux and Google Cloud, and experience with AI-assisted coding tools are expected.
