Altera Digital Health is hiring a remote, full-time Senior Software Engineer with ServiceNow developer experience. The shift is an evening shift running from 5 PM to 2 AM IST.
The engineer would work on ServiceNow development projects and enhancements, and handle troubleshooting tickets. Duties include designing, prototyping, building, testing, and deploying business rules, client scripts, UI pages, UI actions and policies, access control lists, notifications, and ServiceNow APIs. The work also covers single sign-on, directory access, database connectivity, and REST-based services, plus front-end skills in HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
Other tasks include moving customizations between ServiceNow instances using update sets, keeping environments highly available and recoverable, and reviewing requirements to make sure they are detailed enough to estimate accurately. The engineer would also stay current on the platform, review colleagues' work, mentor the service management team, and coordinate with process owners and wider stakeholders.
Applicants should have five or more years of ServiceNow developer experience, counting total and directly relevant work, including time in an IT service management (ITSM) structure.
