Connection is hiring a Sr. Solution Architect for their Technical Solutions Division to focus on Digital Workspace initiatives. In this client-facing position, the professional will serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, helping them modernize and transform their IT environments using cloud, security, and Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate blends technical expertise with consultative sales skills to design, sell, and deliver comprehensive enterprise solutions.
The role involves working alongside sales and product management teams to lead discovery sessions, build proposals, and develop technical strategies. Responsibilities span pre-sales engineering, solution design, technical presentations, proof-of-concept creation, and guidance during project implementation. The successful candidate will maintain advanced technical certifications, track industry developments, and contribute to the creation of new service offerings.

Responsibilities
- Design and present complex Digital Workspace solutions integrating hardware, software, cloud services, security, and professional services
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Solution Architecture teams on technical strategies to drive revenue and expand client relationships
- Lead customer discovery sessions, workshops, technical assessments, and requirements-gathering meetings
- Support pre-sales engagements through proposals, statements of work, solution designs, technical presentations, demonstrations, proof-of-concept environments, and RFPs
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across Microsoft, cloud, security, collaboration, and endpoint management portfolios
- Develop and maintain customer-facing demos, lab environments, and technical enablement resources
- Assist in building new service offerings, solution packages, and go-to-market initiatives
- Provide technical leadership during implementation and deployment projects independently or with delivery teams
- Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative new service offers
- Maintain advanced technical certifications across Microsoft, cloud, security, and Digital Workspace platforms
Requirements
- Have 10 or more years of experience working in Solutions Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Systems Engineering, or Technical Presales roles
- Demonstrate proven success in designing, selling, and delivering enterprise Microsoft and cloud solutions
- Possess strong customer-facing experience conducting executive presentations, solution workshops, and consultative sales engagements
- Show a deep understanding of modern workplace solutions such as client virtualization, identity, security, data, AI, and cloud services
- Have experience building technical strategies that support revenue growth, customer success, and long-term technology roadmaps
- Exhibit exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship
Qualifications
- Expertise in Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Power Platform
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot and generative AI solutions
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Identity Governance, and Zero Trust Security
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager, MDM, MAM, and Microsoft Security solutions including Defender and Purview
- Preferred alignment with MS-102, MD-102, SC-100, SC-300, SC-401, PL-900, AB-100, and AB-620 technologies
- Additional certifications in Microsoft, Citrix, Cisco, Omnissa, Jamf, Apple, or security domains
