Avandra Imaging, a startup launched by Aegis Ventures to build a large indexed cloud for medical imaging data, seeks a Staff Accountant to handle daily financial operations across several operating entities. This position focuses on maintaining operational discipline, cash flow, and financial precision as the business expands. The successful candidate will manage accounts payable, oversee accounts receivable collections, perform bank and credit card reconciliations, and handle cash applications. This operational role is offered as remote or based out of the Eagan, Minnesota facility.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable collections for Datcard and Sorna through proactive communication and follow-up
- Process customer check deposits, credit card payments, and deposits
- Apply customer payments accurately in QuickBooks to ensure timely cash application
- Handle accounts payable functions for Datcard, Sorna, and Avandra by reviewing, coding, and processing vendor bills
- Maintain organized and precise financial records meeting company benchmarks
- Perform reconciliations for all credit card and bank accounts
- Collaborate with the finance team and Director of Finance and Accounting on reporting, close tasks, and process enhancements
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of background in general accounting, accounts payable, or accounts receivable
- Demonstrated experience in cash collections and application
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or comparable accounting software
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Capacity to operate independently and balance multiple priorities
- Adaptability in a fast-moving, growing, multi-entity environment
