LTK is hiring a Staff Engineer, Brand to provide technical leadership and shape the architecture of its creator commerce platform. Operating in a remote capacity from the United States, this role directs strategic, complex, and business-critical engineering initiatives for the Brand team. The person in this position will partner closely with product, design, data, and platform groups to deliver reliable and scalable experiences that serve brands and creators worldwide. Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for strategic, complex, and business-critical initiatives across the Brand platform
- Define and evolve architectural patterns for cross-team product and platform projects
- Lead technical strategy, decomposition, and execution from discovery through delivery
- Collaborate with product, design, data, and platform partners to align technical decisions with business and customer outcomes
- Establish scalable APIs, system boundaries, and patterns to boost reliability and team velocity
- Mitigate technical risks, dependencies, and operational complexities ahead of delivery constraints
- Elevate the engineering standard via design reviews, code reviews, technical coaching, and mentorship
- Preserve overall platform health by enhancing observability, quality practices, and operational readiness
- Convert ambiguous business requirements into practical milestones and durable technical direction
Requirements
- Possess at least eight years of software engineering experience
- Bring substantial background in designing and delivering complex, distributed systems
- Demonstrate previous success operating as a Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, or equivalent senior technical leader across multiple teams or domains
- Exhibit strong systems-design capabilities with a focus on performance, reliability, security, scalability, and developer experience
- Have experience leading high-impact initiatives involving engineering, product, design, data, and platform partners
- Show a history of turning ambiguous challenges into clear technical strategies and execution plans
- Maintain strong communication skills to influence stakeholders without direct authority
- Show authorization to work in the United States without new employment visa sponsorship
