Job Description
This full-time Staff Engineer I role at InMobi sits on the Supply and Monetization Platform team, which operates one of the company's large ad serving systems. The posting puts the load at around 260 billion ad requests a day, more than 2.5 billion people reached, and petabyte-scale data. The engineer keeps that infrastructure reliable, quick and economical.
The engineer leads the design and rollout of platform features and makes architecture choices across modern data and distributed systems. The platform is treated as a product, with usability, governance and adoption weighed together.
Performance and cost work covers resource tuning, lean data pipelines and FinOps-minded design. The engineer sets and tracks metrics for usage, speed and spend, writes modular and testable code, and builds CI/CD pipelines with structured logging. Collaboration duties include stakeholder updates, keeping sprints on course and mentoring other engineers.
