Parkade is hiring a Staff Front End Software Engineer to join its team on a remote basis. Parkade operates a B2B2C SaaS platform focused on modernizing private parking operations for office buildings, mixed-use properties, and apartment complexes through an automated application for customer service, enforcement, and management.
Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, this role suits a professional who enjoys a dynamic startup environment and wants to make major technical decisions. The position requires a candidate who cares deeply about user experience, uses AI responsibly in development work, makes sound architectural choices, and produces work efficiently.
Please note that applicants must be able to travel to San Francisco for an in-person interview session and occasionally as an employee afterward.
Responsibilities
- Make critical technical and architectural decisions for front-end web development
- Utilize AI assistance to produce work efficiently
- Build commercial applications using the company technology stack
Requirements
- At least five years of hands-on front-end experience developing commercial applications
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to travel to San Francisco for an in-person interview and occasional future travel
Qualifications
- Experience building significant products from the ground up
- Proficiency in Python or a comparable backend language
- Experience configuring and enhancing CI/CD infrastructure
