The enterprise operates across digital media, philanthropy, consumer products, and innovative business initiatives to entertain and inspire global audiences.
In this position, the professional will secure high-scale mobile experiences spanning media, mobile gaming, and creator platforms. Serving as the technical owner for the boundary between mobile clients and backend services, the engineer will manage device attestation, account integrity, and server-authoritative detection mechanisms against bad actors such as fraud rings, bot farms, and credential stuffing.
This is a combined build-and-leadership function where the individual will establish technical direction, write production code, and expand a technical team. The role suits experienced security practitioners with a background in consumer-scale mobile protection, systems design, and cross-functional mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Harden authentication, session enforcement, and attestation across native mobile clients and underlying backends
- Design and operate detection and enforcement infrastructure to counter adaptive adversaries across consumer and fintech surfaces
- Establish the multi-quarter security roadmap balancing risk, user trust, and growth
- Lead, mentor, and expand an engineering team spanning backend and mobile disciplines
Requirements
- Possess eight to ten or more years of security engineering experience
- Demonstrate background defending consumer-scale mobile products against fraud, bot abuse, and account takeover
- Show proven ownership of an end-to-end security domain encompassing outcomes, roadmaps, and team leadership
- Bring strong systems design instincts for building adversarial-facing infrastructure at scale
- Maintain hands-on capability across distributed backend services and native iOS and Android client internals
- Work comfortably in Go or similar languages on major cloud providers such as AWS
- Have experience leading engineers formally or in a tech lead capacity
