The person in this role will act as a co-architect of the product roadmap alongside engineering and product partners, translating complicated user behaviors and data into clear design strategies.
The ideal candidate will guide end-to-end growth initiatives, build high-fidelity interactive prototypes utilizing coding tools like Cursor, and present design directions to executive leadership. Candidates should have extensive experience operating at a Staff level within high-scale consumer technology, platform, or growth environments.
In addition to base compensation ranging from $194,600 to $272,400 USD, Reddit provides equity options through restricted stock units and potentially commissions depending on the position. - Present multiple design options confidently to executive leadership supported by data insights and design intuition.
- Sustain a high standard for interaction and visual design while promoting systems thinking and reusable patterns across the organization.
- Convert intricate data, user actions, and test findings into straightforward narratives that secure stakeholder confidence.
Requirements
- Have 8 to 10 or more years of product design experience, preferably in growth, high-scale consumer tech, or platform settings.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to function at a Staff scope by impacting a broader product portfolio beyond a single team.
- Show proficiency in code-based prototyping using environments like Cursor.
- Provide a portfolio displaying craft mastery, systems thinking, and measurable effects on retention, conversion, acquisition, or other growth metrics.
- Feel comfortable operating in an environment driven by rapid iteration, performance data, and A/B testing.
- Possess exceptional presentation, writing, and storytelling abilities tailored for executive-level reviews.
