In this full-time position, the engineer will help establish secure development paths for engineers and AI tools. The role focuses on designing secure frameworks, automated guardrails, and platform controls to prevent vulnerabilities before code reaches production, helping address the speed of AI-assisted development.
This role suits experienced security or software engineers who can drive architectural strategy, lead product security reviews, and implement scalable prevention mechanisms across engineering organizations.
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve secure frameworks, guardrails, and library-level controls to prevent common vulnerabilities
- Design security controls for AI-assisted development, including reusable rule packs and agent skills
- Embed security practices into daily engineering workflows and pipelines
- Conduct product security reviews for new product launches and architectural changes
- Identify and eliminate systemic security debt across the organization
- Shape strategy, influence system architecture, and drive technical execution across teams
Requirements
- Have at least 8 years of total experience in software engineering, product security, or application security
- Accumulate a minimum of 2 years operating at a staff level of scope and impact
- Demonstrate proficiency in at least one programming language among Go, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Show experience designing, building, and operating production-quality systems and developer-facing platforms
- Bring experience building secure frameworks, libraries, or guardrails that scale across multiple teams
- Prove the ability to integrate security into developer workflows including CI/CD, code review, and release processes
- Communicate technical details and business impact clearly to engineers and leadership
- Bring experience with vulnerability discovery and remediation pipelines
- Demonstrate a track record of mentoring engineers and elevating technical standards
Qualifications
- Experience securing AI and LLM systems, agentic workflows, or AI-assisted development tooling
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization systems along with cloud-native platforms
