Operating as a remote-first team based in the United States, the company is currently hiring a Strategic Finance Associate to join its organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this position functions as a cross-functional partner collaborating with the Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, and Executive Leadership departments.
The Strategic Finance Associate will take ownership of financial planning, rolling monthly forecasts, and business performance analysis. This role suits an analytical and detail-oriented professional who can balance strategic thinking with operational execution, navigate ambiguity, and translate complex data sets into actionable recommendations for non-finance stakeholders. The person in this role will guide budget reviews, manage revenue forecasting channels across DTC, wholesale, and marketplace segments, and support investor reporting alongside strategic planning deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the consolidated financial model while managing monthly rolling forecasts
- Partner with the Chief Financial Officer to develop annual operating plans and long-range strategies
- Run month-end close processes alongside the Accounting team and distribute financial packages to leadership
- Conduct quarterly operating expense reviews with department heads to monitor budgets
- Supervise weekly performance reporting and investigate underlying business drivers with cross-functional partners
- Lead revenue forecasting and driver analysis across direct-to-consumer, wholesale, and marketplace channels
- Analyze customer cohorts, retention rates, average order values, customer acquisition costs, and lifetime value
- Translate complex financial data into concise recommendations for non-finance stakeholders
Requirements
- Possess two to five years of professional background in strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, or similar analytical positions
- Demonstrate experience within retail, consumer products, e-commerce, or high-growth business settings
- Show prior experience presenting directly to executives or other stakeholders
- Exhibit advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Qualifications
- Display working familiarity with SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, or alternative business intelligence and data visualization platforms
