Job Description
Deliveroo is now a DoorDash business and works with DoorDash and Wolt colleagues. Fraud and abuse evolve as the company grows, so this role is aimed at spotting new threats rather than running existing fraud programmes.
This Senior Strategy and Operations Manager for Emerging Fraud and Abuse is an individual contributor job in London, with three office days a week. The task is to uncover new abuse patterns across products, promotions and operations before they spread. The manager spots weaknesses, studies attacker behaviour, and turns findings into mitigation plans. The role also sets the emerging fraud roadmap, ranks risks by customer impact, financial exposure and operational complexity, and writes business cases for tooling, automation and machine learning.
Working with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Trust and Safety, Customer Operations, Legal and Finance, the manager designs prevention built into product work from the start, flags likely abuse before launches, and sets metrics for emerging risk. The listing values experience investigating complex abuse, strong SQL, and influence without formal authority.
