Job Description
Genzeon Corporation is hiring a remote Support Engineer to look after a demanding web application. The app is written in Angular and Node.js and links to Epic EMR through SMART on FHIR interfaces. The engineer handles technical support and troubleshooting in a healthcare technology setting.
The engineer works customer tickets, traces failures to root causes, and determines whether they come from code defects, environments or data. Health checks involve reading logs and metrics to confirm the system performs as expected. During scheduled maintenance, the engineer applies patches and fixes with overseas delivery teams, runs diagnostics that imitate real usage, and writes technical notes and FAQs on known error fixes. Second-tier escalations that need code changes, hotfixes or environment adjustments also land here.
The posting asks for five or more years supporting busy Angular and Node.js systems. Candidates should have worked on SMART on FHIR applications and know FHIR resources, terminology and queries. Experience connecting FHIR to outside clinical platforms such as Epic or Cerner is expected. Azure infrastructure knowledge and hands-on DevOps practice are required, plus strong JavaScript, HTML, API and debugging skills and a good analytical, service-oriented mindset.
