The Managed Services team is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to deliver mission-ready integration, infrastructure maintenance, and Tier 3 support. This full-time remote position suits a professional with strong diagnostic skills, high-level communication abilities, and technical expertise in hardware and software systems.
In this role, the engineer ensures the dependable delivery of secure virtual mobile infrastructure while meeting rigorous compliance standards and maintaining system performance. Responsibilities span hardware lifecycles, patch management, security vulnerability remediation, disaster recovery planning, and acting as a technical point of contact for enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Tier 3 engineering solutions through on-site and remote channels
- Install and maintain F5 TLS Proxy solutions alongside client support teams
- Manage operating system and Nutanix installations, upgrades, and patches
- Oversee Hypori Halo server infrastructure capacity and hardware lifecycles
- Support public key infrastructure provisioning and certificate management
- Generate and manage software license keys for client renewals
- Configure platform software, templates, and policies
- Monitor system health, respond to alerts, and handle incident resolution
- Evaluate infrastructure specifications and support hardware purchasing choices
- Execute and document disaster recovery plans and annual testing
- Collaborate on release planning, scheduling, and customer communications
- Test new applications and versions for virtual devices and prepare release notes
- Ensure audit trails, logging, and change management compliance
- Address security vulnerabilities found through penetration tests and ACAS scans
- Serve as a technical point of contact for stakeholders and provide operational reports
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- At least 5 years of professional background in systems engineering, systems integration, or enterprise IT infrastructure support
- Direct knowledge of TLS and PKI provisioning, certificate management, and secure infrastructure integration
- Experience handling enterprise-class server hardware and decommissioning processes
- Familiarity with network engineering concepts and F5 TLS Proxy or equivalent load-balancing solutions
- Strong troubleshooting abilities for managing Tier 3 escalations
- Active CompTIA Security+ certification
Qualifications
- Background supporting Department of Defense, Combatant Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands, or federal customers in high-security settings
- Previous technical delivery experience within a SaaS environment
- Engineering capabilities on the Android platform
- Hands-on Linux proficiency
- Cloud engineering or DevOps background
- Kubernetes orchestration and management knowledge
- Experience with Nutanix, virtualization platforms, and OS deployment
- Familiarity with secure infrastructure deployments including CSfC environments
- Experience utilizing Nutanix AHV or VMware hypervisors
- Security credentials such as CISSP, F5, or Nutanix certifications
- Familiarity with ACAS scanning, DISA STIGs, and DoD compliance frameworks
