Job Description
Fluxon is seeking a Talent Partner to join its Americas Talent team remotely from anywhere in Canada. Founded by startup veterans and former Google employees, the company assists businesses with critical technology choices and product development across strategy, design, engineering, and complex artificial intelligence environments. Reporting directly to the Lead Talent Partner, this position is the second addition to the Americas recruitment group and offers significant influence over hiring practices as the global organization expands beyond 300 personnel.
This is an autonomous, hands-on role suited for someone who views candidate interactions as a direct reflection of the enterprise and prefers fixing broken systems over navigating them. The individual will collaborate with an internationally distributed team spanning the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region. The position provides a competitive salary between CAD 65,000 and 85,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Lead Talent Partners to design and oversee candidate journeys for evergreen and specialist roles across engineering, product, design, and operations
- Conduct introductory calls and serve as the main point of contact to keep candidates informed and prepared
- Coordinate interview schedules and collaborate with hiring managers and interviewers to ensure timely feedback
- Conduct outbound sourcing to locate passive candidates, draft outreach messages, and track effectiveness
- Share market insights and highlight potential recruitment challenges
- Utilize artificial intelligence tools for sourcing and process acceleration
- Maintain a clean and accurate applicant tracking system database
- Support team members and suggest process improvements
Requirements
- Three or more years of recruiting experience with direct exposure to technical hiring
- Demonstrated commitment to a high-bar candidate experience involving fast replies and clear communication
- Organizational skills to manage multiple roles, candidates, and calendars simultaneously
- Ability to push back on hiring managers and deliver rejections while maintaining trust
- Comfort with cold outreach and handling silence from prospective candidates
- Familiarity with using artificial intelligence tools as part of daily work workflows
- A problem-solving instinct to identify broken processes and implement fixes
Qualifications
- Experience working with Greenhouse or Ashby applicant tracking systems
- Background working in a startup or consultancy environment
