Elite Technology seeks a Tech Lead Engineer to steer product and platform development for its cloud-native SaaS automation platform tailored to law firms. Operating in a remote capacity with flexibility across U.S. time zones, this full-time position carries a base salary ranging from USD 180,000 to 200,000 per year alongside a variable component.
This individual will take charge of complex technical initiatives, design system and component architecture, and write production-ready code while keeping hands-on engineering involvement. The position suits an execution-driven technical expert who can bridge high-level product strategy with practical software delivery. Responsibilities include defining scalable architectures, setting rigorous engineering benchmarks, managing technical debt, and guiding team members through mentorship.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for complex initiatives to ensure solutions remain scalable, secure, and aligned with company goals
- Design system and component-level architecture alongside fellow engineers and architects
- Manage end-to-end technical execution from initial design through final delivery while tracking project risks
- Translate high-level designs into structured implementation plans, tasks, and estimates
- Build and evolve cloud-native architectures utilizing microservices, event-driven systems, and API-first design principles
- Enforce high software quality standards through code reviews, automated testing, TDD, and CI/CD pipelines
- Address technical debt and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability
- Mentor and coach engineering personnel to foster collaboration and continuous professional growth
- Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams to satisfy functional and non-functional requirements
- Write production-grade code for critical components and troubleshoot intricate production issues
- Evaluate and integrate modern technologies that enhance team productivity and system reliability
Requirements
- Over 12 years of professional software development experience creating complex and scalable business applications
- Expert-level proficiency in the Microsoft stack, featuring C#, .NET Core, and Angular
- Hands-on expertise with Azure cloud services including App Services, Durable Functions, Event Hubs, API Management, Azure AD, Key Vault, Blob Storage, AKS, and Service Fabric
- Proven background in designing and operating distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs such as ODATA
- Extensive experience with Git, YAML-based CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub
- Solid database proficiency across SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB with a focus on performance tuning
- Deep familiarity with automated testing frameworks, TDD, and quality-driven engineering methods
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employment sponsorship
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP), financial, or mission-critical SaaS software platforms
