Elite Technology seeks a Tech Lead Engineer to steer technical strategy and project delivery for its cloud-native SaaS platform. This remote position operates flexibly across U.S. time zones, though applicants cannot reside in Alaska, Hawaii, Louisiana, or Oklahoma.
This role suits a hands-on technical expert who enjoys combining architecture planning with direct coding. The successful candidate will guide system design, uphold high engineering benchmarks, and mentor other team members. Daily responsibilities include managing technical debt, writing production-ready code, and collaborating closely with product, security, and infrastructure groups.
The position requires extensive experience within the Microsoft development ecosystem and Azure cloud environments. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States, as sponsorship is unavailable for this opening.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for complex and scalable initiatives
- Design system and component-level architecture alongside fellow engineers
- Manage end-to-end technical execution from initial design to delivery
- Translate high-level product designs into structured implementation plans
- Write production-ready code for critical system components
- Enforce quality standards through code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines
- Address technical debt and optimize application performance
- Coach and mentor engineers on technical judgment and best practices

Requirements
- 12 or more years of professional software development experience
- Expert proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and Angular
- Hands-on experience utilizing Azure cloud services
- Proven background in designing and operating distributed systems and microservices
- Experience with RESTful APIs, ODATA, and CI/CD YAML pipelines
- Database expertise with SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
