Job Description
Accesa is a technology firm based in Cluj-Napoca, with a second office in Oradea. It reports 21 years in business, over 1,200 IT professionals, and clients across retail, manufacturing, finance and banking. Its work spans early ideation and requirement-setting, software engineering and managed services.
This technical business analyst role supports a client that runs a technology-driven insurance platform, which lets businesses build protection products into their customers' journeys. The project aims to strengthen the client's digital insurance offering and make the experience smoother for partners and end customers. The analyst bridges product ownership, business analysis, process improvement and systems integration. Duties include owning the backlog and roadmap, weighing value against risk and dependencies, running discovery workshops, examining current processes and proposing improved target flows.
A major part of the job is defining API and integration requirements. The analyst documents data mappings and expected request and response behaviour, works with developers and architects, and converts requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria and test scenarios. The role also covers reviewing specifications, coordinating integration testing, supporting user acceptance testing, training and change adoption, and post-release support that feeds continuous improvement. Applicants need at least three years in business analysis or product ownership, practical experience with APIs and integrations, and familiarity with API testing and documentation tools (for example Postman, Swagger or OpenAPI). Regular and responsible use of AI tools is expected, and the team works in a hybrid environment.
