Job Description
FutureSight seeks a hands-on Technical Co-founder and CTO for BloomLex, an organization building a managed artificial intelligence workforce designed for solo practitioners and small law practices. The company addresses administrative bottlenecks such as missed phone calls, slow response times, scheduling, and marketing by deploying specialized AI teammates named Ava and Claire. Following live pilot validations, the enterprise needs a technical leader to own product architecture, engineering, and scalability as operations expand to thousands of firms.
This is a co-founder partnership rather than a standard executive hire. The incoming leader will work alongside the existing CEO with equal authority regarding product choices, technology, fundraising, and company strategy, receiving founder-level equity in return. The role requires taking charge of real-time voice systems, agentic workflows, security architecture, and automated delivery infrastructure while remaining deeply hands-on. Ideal candidates possess a background in shipping production-grade LLM applications, conversational voice technology, and multi-tenant SaaS platforms, coupled with the willingness to interact directly with legal professionals and build out the engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete technical architecture for Ava, Claire, and upcoming AI workforce products
- Harden real-time voice, telephony, intake, scheduling, routing, and workflow systems for live production environments
- Develop multi-step operational and marketing workflows spanning voice, email, SMS, web, calendars, CRM, and practice-management platforms
- Construct internal infrastructure that enables automated deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement across hundreds of firms
- Balance model capability, latency, reliability, privacy, and inference expenses to maintain gross margins under the baseline pricing model
- Establish security, privacy, tenancy, permissions, data retention, and audit frameworks tailored for trust-sensitive legal environments
- Engage directly with lawyers and design partners to convert real-world workflows and failure modes into product improvements
- Recruit and lead the initial engineering team while establishing a culture of accountability and rigorous execution
Requirements
- Experience shipping LLM-powered, agentic, voice, or automation systems into production environments with meaningful consequences for failure
- Full-stack proficiency across applied LLMs, conversational and real-time voice artificial intelligence, APIs, workflow orchestration, observability, and secure multi-tenant SaaS
- Expertise in AI evaluation, reliability engineering, hallucination mitigation, human-in-the-loop design, and production monitoring
- Capacity to work directly with customers and translate messy real-world workflows into reliable software products
- Willingness to remain deeply hands-on while building a technical organization
Qualifications
- Prior founder or early-stage technical leadership background
- Familiarity with production voice AI, telephony, agentic workflows, or evaluation infrastructure
- Professional background in legal tech, healthcare, financial services, or other trust-sensitive industries
- Knowledge of security, privacy, and compliance obligations involving sensitive customer data
- Experience deploying or self-hosting open-source or custom models when required by privacy, latency, or economics
