This role is responsible for overseeing technical delivery, system management, and architecture within a defined platform or domain.
The position involves working alongside cross-functional teams such as product managers, designers, and quality assurance to guide software systems from requirements gathering through implementation and deployment. Responsibilities include organizing team schedules based on IT priorities, representing IT during business discussions, improving application efficiency, designing complex software architectures, establishing coding standards, and performing regular code reviews. The role also focuses heavily on driving artificial intelligence adoption and conversational AI capabilities, mentoring staff on AI tools, and managing technical deliverables across internal groups and external vendors.
Candidates should possess a bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline, though equivalent relevant work experience can substitute for formal education. Applicants need at least five years of background in systems analysis and management, along with practical familiarity with Agile frameworks. Responsibilities
- Prioritize team tasks based on IT bandwidth and leadership objectives
- Represent the IT department during project and business engagements
- Design, architect, and oversee the creation of complex, scalable software systems
- Lead the complete development lifecycle from initial requirements to testing and deployment
- Enforce development methodologies, best practices, and coding standards
- Perform code reviews to check performance, quality, and architectural adherence
- Identify technical risks and develop effective mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with product managers to schedule deliverables and update stakeholders on progress
- Drive conversational AI adoption and build team AI capabilities to enhance productivity and outcomes
- Evaluate deployed services with department managers to optimize delivery and support mechanisms
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Five years of systems management and analysis experience
- Experience with Agile methodologies
Qualifications
- Three years of experience within Technology or Architecture leadership
- Technical leadership with NICE CXone in an enterprise contact center environment
- Experience implementing or supporting Cognigy AI or comparable enterprise conversational AI platforms
- Advanced SQL and data-analysis experience
- Experience with REST APIs, cloud and SaaS integrations, CRM integrations, observability, and production support
- Experience leading technical delivery across internal engineering teams, business partners, and external vendors
- Project planning and project management experience
- Experience with a Product Management environment and Cloud technologies
- Cloud certification
