Ozow is hiring a Technical Sales Lead in Cape Town to shape how the company designs, sells and delivers payment solutions to merchants. The role owns the solutions proposition for existing and prospective merchants, builds bank and partner relationships, and drives revenue and retention. It is a full-time role for a commercially minded, technically fluent leader with at least eight years in payments, fintech or enterprise technology.
Responsibilities
- Set the proposition across the merchant base, from repeatable solutions to bespoke offers for complex merchants
- Turn merchant needs into commercial and technical solutions and carry them through to delivery
- Build and manage bank, infrastructure and partner relationships
- Drive revenue and retention across new and existing merchants, and build the team over time
Requirements
- Eight or more years of experience in payments, fintech or enterprise technology across solutions, commercial or partnerships roles
- A proven record of designing and selling solutions to large or complex merchants or clients
- Experience building and managing bank, platform or partner relationships
- Commercial and technical fluency to structure and price a deal, and strong executive presence
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a commercial, technical or related field; postgraduate study is an advantage
- Knowledge of the South African payments landscape
