Responsibilities
- Manage both automated and manual testing operations
- Verify the reliability, performance, and quality of crucial business software
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and quality assurance peers to integrate quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Engage actively in scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and reviews
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a quality assurance capacity combining manual and automation testing
- Demonstrated ability to maintain and update enterprise-grade test automation frameworks
- Practical background in creating, executing, and keeping up-to-date manual test cases and suites
- Familiarity with quality engineering principles, governance, and testing strategies
- Experience deploying testing initiatives across web, API, and desktop environments
- Background integrating testing into agile, devops, and CI/CD delivery pipelines
- Experience implementing artificial intelligence-powered testing capabilities
- Familiarity with functional, regression, exploratory, integration, and compatibility testing
- Java-based automation development skills utilizing Playwright and Selenium WebDriver
- Relational database query creation competence using DB2, SQL, or comparable query languages
- Familiarity with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Git
- Cloud technology experience on AWS or Azure, specifically testing cloud-native software and microservices
- Prior professional exposure within the finance, stockbroking, or banking sectors
Qualifications
- API automation proficiency using REST Assured or similar frameworks
