Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, lead and control operations for non-energy mineral commodities
- Oversee sampling, analysis, weight control, visual inspection and loading of bulk cargo at ports and inland locations
- Manage and monitor operational performance across major South African ports and inland sites
- Control revenue and expenses against operational budgets and business strategy
Requirements
- At least five years of proven experience in the sector or within the company
- Working knowledge of ISO 17025
- Computer literacy in Word and Excel, and English proficiency in reading, speaking and writing
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and solve problems
Qualifications
- Other languages are an advantage
- Typing and calculation skills
