AbbVie is seeking a remote Training Manager, Spasticity & Movement Disorders to support brand and franchise initiatives by designing and executing educational programs for field sales teams. In this position, the professional serves as a bridge between training development and brand strategy, ensuring that all educational offerings align with commercial goals. The individual builds collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders, delivers actionable performance feedback to participants, and coaches National Field Trainers to elevate their instructional impact. This position suits an experienced commercial professional with deep knowledge of pharmaceutical products and disease states who can operate autonomously with minimal executive oversight. Responsibilities
- Design, create, and deliver compliant educational solutions to improve the credibility and effectiveness of training participants
- Establish trust with key stakeholders through regular communication and collaborative working relationships
- Utilize existing learning platforms and franchise content to prevent redundant work
- Communicate clear verbal and written feedback to help learners identify performance strengths, weaknesses, and improvement plans
- Coach and provide feedback to National Field Trainers to support their professional growth
- Adapt coaching and training approaches to match the skill levels of individual participants
- Mentor Guest Trainers and Rotational Trainers by assigning meaningful classroom duties and providing direct coaching
- Integrate business plans and strategies into training activities through an understanding of stakeholder operations
- Direct cross-functional initiatives and manage special training projects
- Serve as an expert in products, disease states, customer skills, and business capabilities
- Assist with onboarding, mentoring, and peer-to-peer development for National Field Trainers
- Execute responsibilities independently with minimal direction from senior management
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of field sales experience in the pharmaceutical sector working as a District Manager or Account Executive, or at least two years of sales training experience
- Prior experience leading national or regional impact projects
- Demonstrated history of high-performing sales results and commercial success
Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor's degree
- Familiarity with standards and regulations governing pharmaceutical products such as cGMP and CFR 210/211
