Job Description
Tide is hiring a Lead for Debt Planning and Management in London. Tide offers business accounts and admin tools for small businesses and has more than two million members across France, Germany, India and the UK. The Treasury team, which is the first line of defence, aims to make the best use of the company's resources, manage financial risk and keep liquidity strong. This role leads the planning and execution of Tide's funding strategy spanning both corporate debt and warehouse facilities, making sure the business has the right structure, capacity and flexibility to grow while controlling funding costs and meeting lender obligations.

On the corporate debt side, the job covers setting the debt strategy, recommending the right mix of instruments, negotiating new facilities, managing refinancing and maturities, and building relationships with banks and institutional lenders. On the warehouse side, the lead is accountable for capacity that supports lending growth, negotiating new facilities, amendments and renewals, and tracking advance rates, utilization, borrowing base and concentration limits.
Other duties include maintaining a forward funding plan, managing drawdowns and repayments, feeding funding assumptions into liquidity forecasts with the Liquidity, Forecasting and Risk lead, modelling future debt needs under growth scenarios, supporting Board papers on funding, and running lender due diligence and covenant monitoring. The lead presents funding recommendations to senior executives and flags emerging funding risks.

Strong financial modelling, commercial judgment, influencing skills and an ownership mindset are essential. Experience in technology-led scale-up environments is preferred.
