VaynerMedia, a global integrated creative and media agency founded by Gary Vaynerchuk and operating under the VaynerX parent company, is hiring a part-time Videographer, also referred to as a Shreditor, for its growing APAC market based in the Philippines. This hybrid creative role combines shooting and editing duties to produce native content tailored for social media channels. The position suits professionals who can manage the entire production lifecycle from the initial concept to the final delivery, focusing on metrics such as shares, likes, comments, views, and retention.
As part of a fast-paced environment structured like a startup rather than a traditional agency, the person in this role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, participate in creative brainstorms, and help guide best practices in ideation and execution under leadership direction. Responsibilities
- Produce consumer-focused content designed to achieve high attention metrics including views, likes, comments, shares, and retention
- Capture and edit engaging, platform-native video materials across social networks
- Assemble raw footage into finished pieces optimized for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant platforms
- Keep up to date with social media trends, platform updates, video formats, and editing techniques
- Work collaboratively with teammates and cross-functional departments on rapid-fire requests under tight deadlines
- Participate in creative kickoffs, brainstorming sessions, and team meetings to contribute ideas supporting performance-driven strategy
- Mentor Creators, Creator Residents, Art Directors, and Copywriters across the agency
Requirements
- Bring 3 to 5 years of professional creative experience spanning social, streaming, AR, music, film, or interactive platforms
- Demonstrate proven experience as a video shooter and editor within digital media, advertising, or related fields
- Possess solid knowledge of video production basics including audio capture, framing, and lighting
- Maintain advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
- Show end-to-end content creation abilities from concepting and filming to editing and delivery
- Act as a responsible, accountable self-starter who demonstrates initiative and collaboration skills
