Job Description

CardioOne runs a cardiology platform led by physicians and powered by technology, helping independent practices through operations support, revenue cycle services, imaging and practice development. WindRose Health Investors is among its financial backers.

This remote Virtual Care Enrollment Coordinator sits on the remote patient monitoring team and is the first person new patients meet when joining the program. The coordinator holds enrollment calls with patients referred for monitoring, explains the program and what participants can expect, and guides them through device setup and configuration. Basic technical problems found during onboarding are handled on the spot or escalated, and the coordinator follows up to confirm devices are working and to address early worries.

Day-to-day tasks include checking and recording patient details, consent records and enrollment status inside the EHR and monitoring platform, managing a daily queue of new enrollments against program deadlines, and working alongside clinicians, care coordinators and tech support. The coordinator also flags anything that holds people back from enrolling, such as limited tech comfort or low health literacy, and raises it with the care group.

The job suits a certified Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant who works well alone in a home setting. It is a full-time, 100 percent remote position running Monday through Friday during regular business hours, with pay starting at $18 to $20 per hour.

  • Hold initial enrollment calls with patients referred for remote monitoring
  • Explain the program, its benefits and expectations to patients and caregivers

  • Work alongside clinicians, care coordinators and tech support
  • Manage a daily queue of new enrollments against program timelines
  • Follow up to make sure devices are working and early concerns are resolved

Requirements

  • Clear verbal and written communication, including explaining medical and technical information simply
  • Able to work alone in a remote setting with little supervision
  • Strong organization and time management, including a changing daily workload
  • Comfortable using video calls, phone systems, EHR software and remote monitoring hardware
  • Dependable fast internet plus a confidential, HIPAA-compliant work area
  • Service-minded and empathetic toward patients who differ in age and tech skill

  • Earlier involvement in remote monitoring, telehealth or virtual care initiatives
  • Experience with EHR platforms and enrollment or intake workflows
  • Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply
