Job Description
Engine is hiring a VP, Finance to lead the company's finance function and act as a strategic adviser to the CEO and senior leaders. The role covers financial strategy and the operating rhythm of the business, including planning, forecasting, capital allocation, performance reporting, and long-range strategy. It is aimed at an experienced finance leader who can build structure where little exists and who wants to influence how directors, investors, and outside partners view the company.
Key responsibilities include advising on growth, investment priorities, pricing, and profitability; running fundraising, debt and liquidity planning, M&A, and other strategic deals; and building the financial plan, scenario models, and metrics that explain revenue, margins, customer economics, and cash flow. The leader will also position Engine for upcoming capital events, with the reporting and oversight that a company preparing for public markets needs, and build a high-performing finance team that uses automation and data to scale.
Engine describes its arrangement as a hybrid-hub model that supports both office-based and fully remote employees. The posted base pay range is $300,000 to $375,000 USD, and all roles include equity. An annual bonus can also be part of the package for some positions.

Requirements
