This leadership position directs the Network Powered Solutions engineering function, focusing on platform architecture, data strategy, and innovation rather than day-to-day delivery management. The role suits a strategic technical leader with background in SaaS, AI, or data platforms who can define long-term roadmaps and collaborate across global time zones. Key duties involve setting technical direction for agentic AI and analytics platforms, overseeing architecture and quality practices, and partnering with product and commercial teams to turn network data into production-ready capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Formulate the long-term technical roadmap and engineering vision for Network Powered Solutions.
- Represent the engineering division on the leadership team alongside product, solution sales, and strategic business development.
- Establish architectural standards, technical design governance, and domain architecture.
- Direct the engineering strategy for agentic AI and data platforms to produce intelligent services from network data.
- Manage quality assurance, SDET capabilities, and site reliability engineering practices to maintain platform scale.
- Collaborate with Developer Relations engineering to support the developer ecosystem.
Requirements
- Prior experience leading engineering organizations at a Vice President or Senior Director level within SaaS, AI/ML, or data platform businesses.
- Practical background in cloud-native engineering utilizing Amazon Web Services within a product setting.
- Demonstrated history of developing or directing agentic AI or AI-driven analytics platforms.
- Experience expanding and supervising distributed multi-squad engineering teams through structural changes.
- Capacity to operate both as a strategic thought leader and a technical authority.
- Scale-up or startup background with comfort around ambiguity and fast-paced execution.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with carrier or network API standards including CAMARA and GSMA, or communications service provider integration patterns.
- Exposure to developer-facing application programming interface products or platforms.
- Background in network-based security, authentication, or identity products.
- Experience within transportation, healthcare, or financial technology verticals.
