AppMySite is hiring a remote Wordpress Plugin & API Developer for a full-time position. This role suits developers who have experience connecting WordPress sites to external platforms. The person in this position will work on maintaining and updating the company custom plugin, which links WordPress websites to mobile apps created on the proprietary AppMySite platform. Duties include building and releasing monthly updates, resolving bugs, developing payment gateways, and connecting the plugin with third-party services and popular plugins. AppMySite provides a platform that bridges websites and mobile apps, and the developer will ensure smooth data flow between the platform, WordPress sites, and user applications.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the existing WordPress plugin
- Release monthly updates for the plugin
- Integrate the plugin with third-party services and popular plugins
- Debug and troubleshoot plugin issues
- Create and document plugin APIs
- Develop and integrate REST and Social APIs into WordPress
- Perform WooCommerce development work
