NTT DATA seeks two individuals to fill the role of Workday Configuration & Support Specialist. In this fully remote position, professionals will manage enterprise operations across Financials, Human Capital Management, and related platform areas. This job suits specialists who can handle Tier 2 and Tier 3 support, configure systems, manage security, monitor integrations, and translate complex business needs into scalable solutions. Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 assistance for incoming service requests and system incidents
- Troubleshoot platform problems and recommend sustainable enhancements
- Convert business objectives into scalable system configurations
- Design, test, configure, and optimize Workday Business Processes across specific modules
- Manage security domains, role assignments, security groups, and Business Process policies
- Develop custom reports, matrix reports, and calculated fields
- Set up report-level security to maintain proper data visibility
- Track integration event logs such as Core Connectors, EIBs, and Workday Studio
- Analyze and fix data-transfer and payload errors
- Evaluate, test, and roll out features from semi-annual release cycles
- Keep standard operating procedures, training guides, process maps, and system configurations up to date
- Prepare documented sign-offs and test scripts for production tenant modifications
- Generate monthly system-health reports tracking error trends, integration failures, audit results, and report performance
- Partner with external implementation collaborators and business units
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on background working with advanced reporting and system configuration
- Demonstrated knowledge of Business Process configuration
- Practical experience creating calculated fields, custom reports, and matrix reports
- Background setting up security groups, domains, roles, and Business Process security rules
- Experience supporting HCM, Financials, or cross-functional platform modules
- Previous involvement resolving application support requests at a Tier 2 or Tier 3 level
- Familiarity with integrations including Core Connectors, EIBs, or Workday Studio
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Fluent communication skills in English
- Ability to explain technical details clearly to business users
- Use of a personal laptop and willingness to install company security and device management software during and after onboarding
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, Finance, or a related discipline
- Workday Pro certification
- Workday partner certification in Financials Core, HCM Core, or Reporting
- Experience participating in semi-annual release testing and implementation
- History of producing standard operating procedures, user guides, process maps, audit documents, and system-health dashboards
- Experience working alongside external Workday implementation partners
