PERA Jobs October 2026: 110 Posts, Apply by 29 October

The Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA) is hiring for 110 contract posts, and online applications on the Punjab Job Portal close on 29 October 2026. Ten of the posts are at the Directorate General in Lahore, including technology roles such as Team Lead (AI and Machine Learning), Data Analyst and System Analyst, while the other 100 are Deputy Manager and Assistant Manager (Internal Affairs) positions spread across District Enforcement and Regulatory Board (DERB) secretariats throughout Punjab. All posts carry the Special PERA Pay Package (SPPP-2 to SPPP-5), which the authority describes as negotiable, and start with a three-year contract.
Below is what the advertisement says, who the roles are likely to suit, how to apply and what to check before the deadline.

Which PERA posts are advertised?
Directorate General, Lahore (10 posts, one each)
Head (Internal Affairs) — SPPP-2
Manager (Internal Affairs) — SPPP-3
Team Lead (AI and Machine Learning) — SPPP-3
Team Lead (Full Stack) — SPPP-3
Deputy Manager (HR) — SPPP-4
System Analyst — SPPP-4
Data Analyst — SPPP-4
Assistant Manager (Audit) — SPPP-5
Assistant Manager (Internal Affairs) — SPPP-5
System Support Officer — SPPP-5
Several of these headquarters titles, including Head and Manager (Internal Affairs), both Team Lead posts, System Analyst, Data Analyst and Assistant Manager (Audit), also appeared in a PERA advertisement in July 2026 with a 20 July closing date. Their reappearance suggests the earlier round did not fill them, so candidates who missed that window, or applied and heard nothing, have a second chance.
District Enforcement and Regulatory Board secretariats (100 posts)
Deputy Manager (Internal Affairs) — SPPP-4 — 38 posts, one for each DERB secretariat
Assistant Manager (Internal Affairs) — SPPP-5 — 62 posts: three in each of the nine divisional headquarters (27), one in each of 28 district headquarters, and seven in Lahore
DERB secretariats sit within deputy commissioners' offices, so these are district-level postings rather than Lahore-based jobs. If you apply, expect to be placed in the district you select or are assigned to.
Who is eligible?
The newspaper advertisement does not print qualification, experience or age requirements. It directs applicants to the detailed job descriptions on the PERA website, pera.punjab.gov.pk, and states that candidates must meet the criteria for the post they choose. Read the job description for your post before you fill in the form, because an application that does not match the stated requirements is rejected without a test or interview.
Some general pointers from the titles and from PERA's earlier rounds:
The Internal Affairs posts are PERA's internal discipline and oversight function. In the July 2026 round for the same Deputy Manager and Assistant Manager (Internal Affairs) titles, job-portal coverage reported that prior service in the armed forces, police or another law-enforcement agency was required, with longer service for the Deputy Manager grade. Treat that as background only and confirm the current requirement in the job description.
The Team Lead (AI and Machine Learning), Team Lead (Full Stack), System Analyst, Data Analyst and System Support Officer posts are IT roles and will be assessed on relevant degrees and hands-on experience.
Deputy Manager (HR) and Assistant Manager (Audit) are corporate-services roles; expect HR, finance or audit qualifications and experience to be specified.
Government employees can apply but must go through proper channel and bring a No Objection Certificate from their department to the interview.

Terms and conditions worth knowing
Appointments are contractual for an initial three years, extendable on performance and organisational need.
Offers are provisional and conditional on verification of documents, the NOC where applicable, and antecedents.
Canvassing in any form, or submitting false or bogus documents, leads to disqualification at any stage.
PERA may increase or decrease the number of posts, or withhold or cancel the recruitment, without giving a reason.
Queries go to the Deputy Director (Admin and HR), PERA Headquarters, 1st Floor, Alfalah Building, Charing Cross, Mall Road, Lahore, telephone 042-99205900.
Beware of agents and fake PERA pages
PERA recruitment runs only through the Punjab Job Portal, and the advertisement mentions no fee or agent. Social media pages offering PERA jobs for a fee, asking you to send CNIC copies on WhatsApp, or promising a guaranteed posting are scams. Check the listing on jobs.punjab.gov.pk and the job description on pera.punjab.gov.pk, and ignore anyone who claims to have influence over selection.
