This remote position requires a professional based in Latin America who can work independently for 20 hours per week under a contract paid through a payroll platform.
The person in this role will build and customize user interfaces for various client websites and applications. The ideal candidate possesses strong interpersonal abilities, handles changes easily, pays close attention to detail, and maintains a proactive approach to continuous learning.
Responsibilities involve creating new user-facing features, adapting existing templates to meet client specifications, developing reusable libraries, and optimizing code for performance across different browsers and devices. Responsibilities
- Develop new user-facing features for web applications and small to medium business sites using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

- Create reusable components and front-end libraries for future utilization
- Optimize application components for performance across multiple web-capable devices and browsers
- Assist customers with questions and requests
- Work independently to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of professional experience as a Frontend Developer
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
- Experience using Git for collaborative version control
- Understanding of MVC design patterns, UX and UI design, and RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of basic security practices including CSRF protection and XSS prevention
- Problem-solving and debugging capabilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
