Job Description
The job is a remote, full-time post handling accounts in Europe. SpotMe is a B2B event company that builds CRM-linked programs spanning in-person, virtual, hybrid and webinar formats. Its Onomi product serves life sciences teams that want to reach healthcare professionals through medical meetings, symposia, advisory boards and webinars.
The director reports into the VP of Account Management and acts as the lead contact for seven to 15 major accounts totaling roughly $3 million. Growth inside those customers is central because life sciences expansion is the company's top goal after the Onomi launch. The director negotiates multi-year enterprise contracts and grows usage across large Fortune 500 accounts.
Time is split approximately as follows: 40 percent on expansion, upgrade and renewal work; 20 percent on retention and growth plans, including workshops, certifications and partner briefings; 15 percent on relationships with champions and senior staff in commercial, medical, IT and procurement; 10 percent on account research and planning; 10 percent on first-line compliance and product questions; and 5 percent on CRM work and forecasts.
New hires start by joining industry events and learning the sales plays and tools, including Salesforce and Fathom. Within three months the expectation is to close a deal independently, identify two expansion levers per account and attend a congress solo. Within a year the director should have met each customer face to face and grown the portfolio's revenue by 20 percent year over year.
The ideal profile is someone who has run large accounts worth about $200,000 to $2 million in organizations of more than 500 staff, mainly in B2B SaaS or consulting. Experience in demanding sectors such as pharma, financial services or technology is valued, and familiarity with healthcare-professional engagement in pharma is a plus. Self-starters with commercial sharpness, product knowledge and openness to coaching are sought. No salary or benefits are described.
