Job Description
Cosuno is a technology company founded in Berlin in 2019, backed by investors such as Cherry Ventures and Spark Capital, that provides an AI-driven platform replacing traditional manual methods in the construction industry. The company is hiring for an Account Manager or Key Account Manager position to manage a dedicated portfolio of general contractors, property developers, and planners. In this role, you will work alongside a consulting team to ensure customer activation, secure contract renewals, and drive usage expansion, cross-selling, and upselling. You will negotiate renewals directly with purchasing, procurement, and managing directors, maintain weekly forecasts, and proactively manage churn risks. The position suits professionals who prefer managing a broader portfolio of clients rather than a handful of enterprise accounts, enjoy commercial negotiations without defaulting to discounts, and can engage mid-market executives effectively. Ideal candidates embrace autonomy, move quickly to solve problems, maintain strong drive, and share successful strategies with teammates. The role is remote within the European Union, with a preference for candidates based in Berlin-Kreuzberg, and comes with company events, modern equipment, and an open feedback culture with regular development discussions.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 70 to 90 general contractors, developers, and planners, or handle complex enterprise accounts as a Key Account Manager
- Collaborate with the consulting team to guarantee user activation and address adoption gaps
- Negotiate renewals, cross-sells, and upgrades directly with company leadership, procurement, and estimators
- Track all upcoming contract deadlines within the next twelve months and execute renewal procedures starting 125 days prior
- Maintain and update weekly sales and renewal forecasts independently
- Identify warning signs such as declining platform usage and deploy mitigation plans quickly
Requirements
- Around 2 to 3 years of professional background in B2B account management, customer success, or sales, preferably within SaaS
- At least one year of direct responsibility for existing accounts and revenue generation
- Demonstrated track record of measurable outcomes in renewals, upsells, or churn reduction
- Native-level proficiency in German
- 3 to 5 years of experience managing corporate groups or enterprise clients with multiple decision-makers and extended sales cycles for the Key Account Manager level
Qualifications
- Good proficiency in English
- Prior background working with the construction sector, real estate industry, or vertical SaaS
Core Skills
Benefits
- Unlimited employment contract
- Modern work equipment
- Flexible remote work location within the European Union, with Berlin-Kreuzberg preferred
- Participation in online and offline company and team events
- Regular one-on-one sessions, feedback culture, and internal advancement opportunities
