Job Description
PointClickCare is hiring a remote, full-time AI Solution Engineer for its Technology Support team. The team delivers solutions that simplify internal processes, improve implementations and provide scalable, autonomous services across employee-facing corporate platforms. The engineer brings AI-powered automation into daily use in a healthcare SaaS environment, working with senior leaders, solution architects and product teams.
The engineer builds and maintains AI agents and intelligent workflows with Azure services, including Copilot Studio, AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI. Partner models from Anthropic and OpenAI are also in scope. Intended applications include setting up configurations faster, automating onboarding and moving data between systems. The engineer writes APIs and scripts that link language-model agents to existing enterprise systems, relying on open standards such as MCP.
Work continues through testing, evaluation, deployment and monitoring. Output quality, guardrails and responsible AI safeguards are part of that routine. The engineer collaborates with integration, implementation, product and support groups, keeps an eye on roadmaps from Microsoft, Anthropic, OpenAI and Google, and helps evolve the in-house AI delivery approach and spread good AI practice across groups.
The ideal candidate holds a computer science, engineering or information systems degree, or has equivalent practical experience, and has spent three to five years in software or cloud engineering. Hands-on work with Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio or Now Assist is required, and proficiency in Python, C# or JavaScript/TypeScript is expected. Familiarity with HL7 and FHIR is a strong plus.
