Affirm operates a financial services platform centered on transparent payment options without hidden fees or unexpected costs. The organization seeks an Analytics Engineer II, Full Stack focused on Revenue Analytics to join its team on a remote basis in Poland.
This professional will construct and manage data models, analytics infrastructure, and semantic frameworks that drive daily decisions across the revenue department. The ideal individual combines robust technical abilities with the capacity to transform ambiguous business problems into structured, tested data assets. Key duties involve creating dbt data models, supporting external merchant reporting, establishing metadata and context layers to aid AI systems, and collaborating with engineering and business stakeholders.
The position is suited for practitioners experienced in analytics engineering and business intelligence who want to contribute to scalable data products and governance frameworks within a remote-first work environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop dbt models, metrics, dashboards, and automated workflows for revenue analysts and the revenue field team
- Construct and maintain reporting data models utilized for external merchant reporting
- Design semantic, context, and metadata layers enabling AI systems to accurately process revenue data and definitions
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering, and business systems to turn needs into tested data products
- Contribute to team standards regarding version control, documentation, code reviews, and release hygiene via GitHub
- Establish processes and governance foundations to scale analytics impact across the revenue organization
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of professional experience working in a business intelligence or analytics engineering capacity
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, dbt, data visualization, and data modeling
- Practical background utilizing cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, Databricks, and BI tools such as Sigma, Looker, or Tableau
- Familiarity with Salesforce and supporting commercial business areas
- Ability to deconstruct vague problems into actionable steps and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences
