Job Description
Foodics is hiring an Anti Money Laundering Officer to back up the AML Lead on day-to-day screening, due diligence casework and regulatory filings. The work complies with SAMA rules and with Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) suspicious-report procedures. The post is full-time and on-site.
Much of the work is onboarding and periodic review. The officer carries out know-your-customer and know-your-business checks, verifies company paperwork, and checks commercial registration, national address, merchant category code, beneficial owners and IBAN ownership. Sanctions, politically exposed person and negative media screening is part of the job. Enhanced due diligence applies to high-risk merchants, including those with erratic transaction volumes, unusual category codes or cash-like activity. Higher-risk clients such as cash-heavy merchants and high-volume cross-border accounts require sign-off.
Investigations and filings are equally central. The officer reviews alerts, studies customer behavior, escalates suspicious activity to the AML Lead, drafts initial case summaries and helps prepare suspicious transaction reports. Records of AML activity, investigation files and evidence stay current in the case system, and the officer supports regulator inspections and information requests. The role also helps run AML training for new hires and operations staff. No salary is stated.
