Precision AQ, a division of Precision Medicine Group, is seeking an Associate Director to join its Global Dossier and Value Communication team on a permanent, full-time basis. This position is suited for an experienced professional with a background in medical writing or market access who wants to communicate healthcare innovations and shape evidence-based value narratives to help patients access new medical technologies.
In this capacity, the Associate Director acts as a primary lead writer for evidence-based projects, overseeing deliverables across multiple workstreams and therapeutic areas. Responsibilities include creating value proposition slide decks, JCA and HTA submissions, Global Value Dossiers, AMCP dossiers, and objection handlers. The role involves working closely with health economics, evidence synthesis, access strategy, and project management colleagues, as well as collaborating directly with external experts, partner agencies, and clients.
Additionally, the person in this position will independently generate leads toward an annual business development target, assist with proposals and client pitches, and help establish quality standards. Mentoring junior and mid-level writers, supporting recruitment, and contributing to internal training programmes are also key parts of the position.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead writer on projects to deliver fully referenced, evidence-based content on schedule
- Manage workloads and plan project deliverables across concurrent workstreams
- Develop JCA submissions, HTA submissions, Global Value Dossiers, AMCP dossiers, value proposition slide decks, and objection handlers
- Pursue business development activities independently with a designated annual target
- Participate in company initiatives including working groups, training programmes, and social activities
- Contribute to business development through proposal writing, pitch participation, and introductory client calls
- Perform rigorous writing, editing, and quality control on client deliverables
- Conduct desk research, literature reviews, data validation, and reference management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams, clients, and key opinion leaders
- Lead project workstreams encompassing intellectual design, timeline development, and meeting leadership
- Support team growth by participating in recruitment and providing mentorship to junior and mid-level staff
- Work with Directors to set quality standards and training materials for new employees
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience or an equivalent combination of advanced education and experience
- Demonstrable experience creating market access materials including JCA submissions, HTA submissions, GVDs, and value propositions
- Prior experience managing and mentoring writers
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and bibliographic software such as EndNote
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to assimilate complex information quickly
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail, integrity, and commitment to confidentiality
- Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without employer sponsorship
Qualifications
- Life sciences degree or equivalent
- Master degree preferred
- PhD in a life sciences discipline
