Softgic seeks a senior-level Atlassian Administrator for a full-time, remote position. This role focuses on managing, optimizing, and supporting the Atlassian Cloud ecosystem, including Jira Software, Confluence, and Jira Service Management. The person in this position will design scalable configurations, build automated workflows, connect enterprise applications, and handle user permissions and security setups.

Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Atlassian Cloud software such as Jira Software, Confluence, and Jira Service Management
- Configure Jira projects, issue types, screens, custom fields, workflows, and security schemes
- Oversee Confluence spaces, templates, user permissions, and knowledge-management structures
- Design and optimize Jira Service Management queues, request types, portals, and ITSM processes
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into scalable Atlassian architectures
- Build automation rules utilizing Automation for Jira, ScriptRunner with Groovy, and Atlassian APIs
- Integrate the ecosystem with platforms including Azure AD, Okta, DevOps utilities, and third-party tools
- Control user access, single sign-on setups, and conduct routine access audits
- Troubleshoot platform performance issues, resolve incidents, and manage Atlassian Marketplace applications
- Deliver technical support, documentation, and training sessions for end users
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience administering Atlassian platforms within enterprise environments
- Demonstrated background handling Jira Software, Confluence, and Jira Service Management Cloud
- Expertise in Jira workflow administration, custom fields, permission schemes, and Confluence space management
- Experience building automations with Automation for Jira, ScriptRunner Groovy, and Atlassian REST APIs
- Proficiency in connecting Atlassian tools to external systems via webhooks, APIs, and middleware
- Familiarity with identity and access management tools like Okta, SSO, and SAML
- Advanced English language proficiency at the B2+/C1 level
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Atlassian certifications such as ACP
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Background in regulated sectors including finance or healthcare
- Experience spearheading Atlassian migrations, implementations, or governance programs
- Familiarity with Scrum and Agile frameworks
- Proficiency with SQL, reporting platforms, or Business Intelligence tools
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks like SOX, HIPAA, or GDPR
- Scripting experience in JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell
